The city of Tarbes, its parks and gardens...
It will take you no more than twenty minutes, from the Marne hotel in Tarbes, to reach one of the city's gems: the Massey garden. Listed as a “Remarkable Garden” and bequeathed to the city, by Placide Massey, eminent botanist and landscape designer to the king at Versailles. This 11 hectare place is a haven of peace and a paradise for fans of rare and original plants from all over the world. Within it you will find the Massey Museum which presents, among other things, The "Hussars History" collection, bringing together more than 15,000 objects that evoke 400 years of history.
